What if on One Day, churches from all over the nation brought in the Harvest Crusade and streamed it live right into their church? At last year’s Harvest, individuals watched the live stream broadcast from every state of the union and 32 countries around the world! Now, with HD-quality video available through Internet streaming and satellite, people could fill churches, theaters, coffee houses, and living rooms, linking together as One Church in thousands of locations.
For what purpose? One Message! The only message that can save a soul—the simple proclamation of the gospel. Now a short message from Greg Laurie…
The stage is set, the messages are prepared, and 1,913 host venues are poised to shine the light of Jesus this Sunday at Harvest America.
Find a location near you and make plans to be there. If you can’t show up in person, here’s a link that outlines all of the ways you can view or listen to the event, including TV, Roku, web, and radio.
More than just attending the event, now is the time for last-minute invites. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring someone to mind that you can invite. Then pick up the phone or walk across the street and ask them. And don’t forget share it on Facebook as well.
I will continue to be praying for you who are inviting, that God would give you boldness and tact and that He would remove obstacles and excuses for those who are being invited.
Let me know what location you’ll be attending by leaving me a comment on Facebook. I can’t wait to see what God will do!
“…For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do…” – ESV / Commentary
“…The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven….” – ESV / Commentary
“…For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin —because anyone who has died has been set free from sin…” – ESV / Commentary
“The skies lay low where You are On the earth You rest Your feet Yet the hands that cradle the stars Are the hands that bled for me… In a moment of glorious surrender You were broken for all the world to see Lifted out of the ashes I am found in the aftermath… Freedom found in Your scars In Your grace my life redeemed For You chose to take the sinner’s crown As You placed Your crown on me…”
Love the description sung of coming to Christ when we initially accept Him in our hearts… Being lifted from the ashes, from the dust, being born again into something greater and saved from the ashes of death… Then later it’s described as being lifted out of the wreckage, the debris, the mess and chaos of our lives to something that contains greater peace, rest, and joy… “..And in that moment You opened up the heavens; To the broken the beggar and the thief..” Just can’t get enough of this image of how desperate and broken our lives and spirits are and the need for our Savior Christ. Then the final statement of “…Knowing I’m found; In the LIGHT of the aftermath…” how amazing!
Tune in for the next study of A Beautiful Exchange as we continue studying the Sacrifices of Christ and their meaning!
v.11 – “…For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh….” – ESV / Commentary
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us…” – ESV
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few…” -ESV
“…Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord….” [esv]
1 Corinthians 15:47-48 – Of Dust and Heaven
“…The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven….” – ESV / Commentary
